In 2016, the U.S. exceeded a long-targeted goal of 20,000 ATA Carnets according to the United State Council for International Business (USCIB), the U.S. national guaranteeing association for ATA Carnets. In a report published recently, Peter Robinson, CEO of USCIB, commented that the 20,000 ATA Carnet accomplishment was the result of strong performance by its two Service Providers, including Boomerang Carnets.

Carnet production is an economic indicator that forecasts trends in U.S. exports. Use of carnets is usually a precursor to sales of U.S. products and services abroad. Reaching the 20,000 goal in 2016 and continued optimism about carnet issuing in 2017 indicates continued growth for U.S. exporters.
