OWIT Membership Delivers Networking Boost

Our VP Chapter Development Gail Morris connected with OWIT Past President (2000) Holly Vineyard,at OWIT’s Spring Board Meeting dinner in Washington, DC. During the course of a conversation with Diane MacDonald of the law firm Baker & McKenzie and President of the OWIT-Chicago Chapter, Gail learned that Holly – in her role as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Africa, the Middle East and South Asia, U.S. Department of Commerce - would be speaking at the May 2010 World Bio conference in Chicago, which Gail was also attending. “Diane organized a wonderful dinner get-together after the conference session with individuals from the International Trade Association of Greater Chicago,” says Gail. “Another example of the power of OWIT and networking!”
